Track Your Complaint
Use this guide to understand how to track complaints submitted to various regulatory authorities.
Important: IAFAF does not track complaints. Use the reference number provided by the regulator to track your complaint on their official portal.
Reference Numbers
Upon complaint submission, you will receive a unique reference number from the regulator.
- ✓Save the reference number immediately after submission
- ✓Reference numbers are sent via email or SMS
- ✓Use the same reference number to track complaint status
- ✓Reference number formats vary by regulator

Authority reviewing complaint and documents

Complaint forwarded to appropriate department

- 2Login with your credentials
- 3Go to 'Track Complaint' section
- 4Enter your complaint reference number
- 5View status and updates

- 2Login to your account
- 3Navigate to 'My Complaints'
- 4View complaint status
- 5Check for updates and responses
Go to RBI CMS Portal →Cybercrime Portal

- 2Go to 'Track Status'
- 3Enter your complaint reference number
- 4View current status
- 5Contact helpline if needed: 1930
Go to Cybercrime Portal Portal →MCA
- 1Visit mca.gov.in
- 2Login to portal
- 3Go to 'My Complaints'
- 4Track status using reference number
Go to MCA Portal →State EOW
- 1Contact State EOW office
- 2Provide FIR number
- 3Check status with investigating officer
- 4Follow up regularly
Escalation Process
If your complaint is not resolved within a reasonable time:
- 1Check the regulator's escalation process on their portal
- 2Contact the regulator's helpline or customer service
- 3File a complaint with the Ombudsman (if applicable)
- 4Contact the regulator's regional office
- 5For urgent matters, contact the regulator's emergency helpline
